The body of the top-mounted ball valve is an integral design, which will not affect the use of our valve because of the expansion and contraction of the pipeline. Both the ball and the valve seat adopt the top-mounted structure. When the valve is repaired, there is no need to remove the valve from the pipeline. It adopts an integrated type, which effectively solves the machining gap between the valve stem and the sphere, ensuring the precise positioning of the sphere and the protection structure of the valve stem against blowout. The sealing form of the valve stem and bonnet is not an ordinary packing seal, but a packing box combination seal is used. The ball and valve seat can adopt PPL or metal hard seal according to customer requirements.

Nominal size of bodywork floating ball valve ≤DN200. A compression spring is applied on the sphere, and the compression spring's role is to apply a pretension force on the sphere, so that the sealing surface of the valve seat is in close contact in any case, and the sealing performance is good. The wedge angle of the contact surface of the valve seat and the valve body is 10 °. The valve seat can be self-locked. In the pipeline direction, when the valve seat is subjected to a large pressure, the valve seat will not produce any displacement. Therefore, the valve of this structure has both the characteristics of a gate valve and the advantages of a ball valve . During maintenance inspection, it was found that the valve body and valve seat are prone to leakage. If the preload of the spring is increased , the closing torque of the ball valve is bound to increase . In order not to increase the closing torque of the ball valve , a rubber O-ring is added on the back of the seat sealing surface to solve the leakage problem on the back of the seat sealing surface.
The disadvantage of the top-mounted fixed ball valve is that the spring preload cannot be adjusted and controlled, and the spring compression is large during assembly, making assembly difficult. To solve this problem, ANSI 302 is used instead of 304 for the spring material. ANSI 302 has good spring rigidity, and its corrosion resistance is similar to 304. In addition, a spring seat and an adjustment nut are added. The threads are respectively turned on the outer circle of the valve seat and the spring seat, and the spring is pressed into the spring seat with the adjustment nut, and the valve seat assembly is inserted into the valve body. Since the spring has been compressed before installing the ball, it is convenient to install the ball. After the sphere is assembled, the adjustment nut is withdrawn from the spring seat, and the spring preload on the sphere is small. If you want to increase the preload, you can adjust the adjustment nut.
